Habitat Hero Workshop Water Wise Wildscaping For Your Yard
Saturday, March 28, 2015 (9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
Habitat Heroes use wildscaping with native Rocky Mountain species to "plant a lifeline" for songbirds, pollinators and other imperiled wildlife, to remove water-thirsty and sterile turf grass, and to restore diverse habitat in gardens and landscapes, whether public, private or commercial. Wildscapes can include formal gardens, meadow-style expanses, flower-filled cottage borders, or natural landscapes. Learn how to wildscape, what plants to use, how to grow them and where to find them.
