BASOTI presents "The Magic Flute"
Magic Theater at Fort Mason San Francisco, CA
This opera (known as Die ZauberflÃte in German) may be the most beloved of all Mozart's operas. It combines a profound exploration of our longing for universal harmony with unforgettable characters, gorgeous music, humor, and (of course) a magic flute as Prince Tamino undergoes trials to win the hand of his true love, Pamina. It is a classic tale that audiences of all ages will enjoy. (Directed by David Ostwald, conducted by Matthias Kuntzsch, sung in German with dialogues in English).
Note: To those driving to the event: While the Fort Mason Center has a paid parking lot for your convenience, our production times will often coincide with other Fort Mason events. Please plan ahead.
