Save The Unknowns
Minor League Productions Presents "Save The Unknowns" Live Concert | An All-Ages Event
Artists: Warm July (WJ), is an up-and-coming roots rock 'n' roll group from Brooklyn, NY with duo-female vocals, bass, guitar, and drums. The band is distributing "Warm July," the album (released July 2009), through Best Buy retail stores, along with major digital services. To date, WJ has performed at many popular music venues in New York City, on college campuses, in store at Best Buy, under the Brooklyn Bridge, and even in houses and apartments. Warm July is on a mission to re-affirm the promise that rock 'n' roll represents, and to keep the history of the genre alive in a substantive, new way. The fundamental sonic construction of the Warm July "sound" resides in rhythm and blues, and in hope. The band remains singularly focused on its mission, through unwavering determination to the ideals WJ has set forth, barriers will be broken, and we will successfully climb the hill to greater recognition. It is just a matter of time. WARMJULY.COM
Phony PPL is a teenage group that seamlessly mixes hip-hop with rock, and jazz elements to create an original fusion of the truest order. With three vocalists, two piano players, a drummer, a guitarist, a saxophonist, and a bass player, Phony PPL delivers a fresh and professional sound. The band came together informally - socially, through jamming, and has since evolved into a serious outfit with mass appeal on MySpace and You Tube. Captivating live shows earned them acclaim along with a diverse spectrum of performance opportunities, from different high school "battle of the band's" type events, to sharing the stage with hip-hop pioneers.
