Madrigalia Via presents: Novus et Vetus

Madrigalia Via will be presenting a one-night-only concert event in Greenwich Village on Saturday, June 5th. It will be an evening of music sampling gems plucked from the entire eight hundred year history of the madrigal. Pieces to be performed include works by Perotin, Dufay, Gesualdo, Hindemith, Morten Lauridsen, Steven Lubin, and much more.
MADRIGALIA VIA is an international a cappella ensemble founded in early 2008. A diverse group with members originally from South America, Asia, and the United States, they are committed to promoting, exploring, and sharing early vocal music, in particular the madrigal style. Pieces to be performed include works by Perotin, Dufay, Gesualdo, Hindemith, Morten Lauridsen, Steven Lubin, and much more.

Adults $10 in advance until day of the concert, $15 at the door.
Students with ID: $5 in advance, $7 at the door.
