8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer sail the clouds from California for an aerial attack of grainy pop music on the unsuspecting East Coast chip scene. Hailing from Utah, OK Ikumi and Forest World take a subtler route, forming beachheads in your mind with slyly catchy nanoloop tunes that ride the line of melancholy and dancey. VBLANK takes the stern and guides this night's visual pillaging so cover your eyes and ears or prepare to get plundered.

8 Bit Weapon: Inspired by classic video game soundtracks and electronic music from the 70s and 80s, 8 Bit Weapon delivers a sound that is as unique as it is original. Clever melodies, nostalgic atmosphere, and energetic beats create a decidedly modern sound while maintaining a fun, lo-tech aesthetic. http://www.8bitweapon.com/

ComputeHer: Michelle grew up during the golden-age of computers and video games. The countless hours playing video games helped shape her appreciation for chip music and music in general. She began making her own music in the 8th grade when she learned to play the drums. Later, she picked up the guitar, harmonica and eventually found her sound on a Game Boy. They've been almost inseparable ever since. Her debut album Data Bass was released in the spring of 2007 and her first tour followed shortly thereafter. Since then she has contributed tracks to numerous compilations and has worked with Devo. Expect her sequel album "Modemoiselle" in Spring 2010. http://www.computeher.net/
-------------------------------------------------------- OK Ikumi: Karl Jørgensen has been making lo-fi electronic music as OK Ikumi since 2004. After a few years of performing in and around Salt Lake City, he released his debut full-length 'Spirits' on Sacramento's Blue Bell Records in 2007. OK Ikumi has toured the North American west twice (in 2007 and 2008), as well as completing a tour of Japan in 2008. He is currently self-releasing a series of mini CDs as he works towards creating a new album. OK Ikumi has shared the stage with ADULT., Broken Spindles, Mount Eerie, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, and Eliot Lipp among others. http://www.okikumi.com/

Forest World: Creating homemade electronic music as Forest World since 2006, Sean Ivins has self-released five albums and toured the North American west three times. Written and performed with a Gameboy Advance, his latest release "Fvtvre" varies from 'laid-back heartfelt songs' to 'hip-hop inspired superjams', all using classic Nintendo sounds recorded in his basement in Salt Lake City. Forest World has performed in his hometown with Matt and Kim, The Robot Ate Me, Yacht, Blitzen Trapper, and many others. http://forestworld.bandcamp.com/
