"How the Music Happened" - Singer/ Songwriter Monthly Series
Clifton Performance Theatre Cincinnati, OH
Surrounded by the theatre's red striped walls, gold ceilings, and black stage curtains, the audience feels transported into an European salon as the artists give the back stories of the songs they composed and then perform them. It's completely different from what singer/songwriters usually do in coffee houses or bars.
"We created this event to give the artists a chance to present their songs in a theatre setting, where the audience sits and actually listens to the songs, as opposed to a bar or a coffee house, where singers and songwriters are usually background entertainment", says Tajci (Tatiana) Cameron, who came up with the series. She and partner Carol Brammer founded Clifton Performance Theatre.
Fine refreshments will be served. This event repeats monthly, featuring different regional singers / songwriters.
