Saratoga Chamber Orchestra - MAJESTIC FIFTH
Whidbey Island's own, Saratoga Chamber Orchestra, is pleased to
announce the final set of concerts of the 2009-2010 season on May 17th
in Langley and 18th in Oak Harbor starting at 7 p.m. The SCO, now in
their third season under the music direction of conductor, Legh W.
Burns, will be performing the majestic Symphony #5 (Reformation) of
Felix Mendelssohn as well as the "Creatures of Prometheus" Overture by
Ludwig van Beethoven and will be joined by guest soloist, Matthew Frost
on trumpet for Hummel's Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra.
