The Film Festival will close on June 6 with a 7:00 pm showing of four short films from the Southern California Indian CenterÃ¢s Creative Spirit program. The goals of the Creative Spirit program is to provide employment and training opportunities for Native Americans in the entertainment industry job sector, and to develop, produce and market film, television and multimedia projects which contribute to a greater understanding of the American Indian experience. This show will include the four film projects of 2006 and 2009. This show will also be preceded by short stories from the Yavapai-Apache storytelling project.
