Event
A French Fete
Celebrate choral works from four of France's greatest composers with the San Francisco Concert Chorale. The centerpiece will be a performance of Poulenc's Gloria with soprano soloist Kaileen Miller and organist Jerome Lenk. Also featured is Charpentier's Te Deum, the best known of all French baroque grand motets. Written "pour choeur a cappella", the Durué Quatre Motets includes one of the most popular sacred a cappella works of the last century, Ubi Caritas. Faure's Messe Basse, uniquely arranged for womens voices, will also be included. Please join us as we fête these honored composers and the special music they have created.
