MARIN BAROQUE Valentines' Day Concert - The Art of Courtly Love
Back by popular demand following Marin Baroque's 2014 Valentines' Day concert, CALEXTONE will present The Art of Courtly Love, Love Songs from 15th Century France. During this beautiful, intimate performance, Shira Kammen, early music string musician, Letitia Berlin & Frances Blaker with recorders, and Allison Zelles-Lloyd with her crystal-like soprano presentation, will enchant us with the music as well as provide brief, fascinating narrative about the repertoire and the instruments they play.
The audience is invited up to the stage following the concert to ask questions and to get a close up view of the musicians' early music instruments.
A reception follows the concert to which all are invited free of charge.
