Ear Heart Music: Elliott Sharp and Payton MacDonald
America's most fearless musician ELLIOT SHARP headlines an evening of creative music for guitar and marimba. Sharp's music ranges from classical to punk, jazz, and free improvisation. Sharp has written hundreds of compositions and released over 90 recordings. He will focus on his solo 8-string guitarbass at The Tank.
PAYTON MacDONALD will begin the evening with a solo marimba concert. The two musicians will improvise together in the final set. MacDonald is a founding member of Alarm Will Sound and active as a composer, improviser, and interpreter.
