The Hempire Strikes Back!!
The Downvibe's second annual Hemp Fest "The Hempire Strikes Back" is right around the corner!
Bringing you the best in local and regional musical experience for the second year in a row.
July 9th through July 11th in Spring Grove, PA.
This year is going to be stellar. As Reed Taylor said, "You were either there, or you weren't." You don't want to miss this year as we bring the best music, art, and entertainment to the southern PA region.
Once again, we inhabit the beautiful Elicker's Grove at 511 Roth Church Rd., in Spring Grove, PA. (45 min from Harrisburg, 1 hour from Baltimore, 2 hours from Philly, 3 hours from NYC). This year, we will again have over 30 musical acts, a separate and even more elaborate electronic music stage, magicians, jugglers, fire pit, fire spinning, and hemp historian Les Stark. Additionally, we have poets, meditation and yoga seminars, new speakers, and even stand-up comedy! (SEE LINE UP BELOW!)
"The Hempire Strikes Back," is the second installment in the re-education and depoliticizing of industrial hemp in south central Pennsylvania, after last years highly successful and critically acclaimed "Free Mary Jane Fest."
Now Culminating in the biggest mass rally for Hemp Pennsylvania has ever seen!! We are moving the festival to the steps of the Capitol Building on the afternoon on 2 pm, Sunday July 11th! Press will be there, more speakers, more tunes, and more impact! There will be carpool centers and places to make signs and learn about the cause at Hempire/Elicker's Grove. We all want you to come! Its totally FREE, and will totally be the capper to an incredible weekend! Invite your friends, no excuses not to enjoy yourself for a good cause. "Hempire Now Strikes Back" on the capitol building! Completely sanctioned and working with authorities.
Of course, returning once again, your favorite hemp foods!
Alcohol is permitted - BYOB
We are working with local authorities to make this event safe and drug free. If you are caught with any drugs of any kind, you will be immediately removed. Absolutely NO weapons, fireworks, PETS, RV hook ups, or glass bottles. Gates at 1 pm on Friday. Music begins early and doesn't stop until Sunday. Get ready! The Hempire Strikes Back!
