The Grotto Portland, OR
One of the region's premiere choirs, David York Ensemble, sings timeless classics and new works with cellist, Adam Hurst. Program features Samuel Barber's haunting "Agnus Dei," Morten Lauridsen's "O Magnum Mysterium," Eric Whitacre's "Water Night," Nancy Telfer's "Missa Brevis," works by Northwest composers Robert Kyr, Craig Kingsbury, Joan Andrews, and David York; and masterpieces by Bruckner, Victoria, Pizzetti, Casals, and Messiaen. Similar events produced at Meridian UCC in Wilsonville on 3.3.07 and Cedar Hills UCC on 6.2.07.
