Ear Heart Music: Mantra Percussion and Dither Electric Guitar Quartet
MANTRA PERCUSSION and DITHER ELECTRIC GUITAR QUARTET join forces to create a ferocious experimental big band, performing world premieres for the combined octet of electric guitars and percussion.
Threaded together by Eric km Clark's creepily entrancing segues for sight-deprived performers, this eclectic program will feature Daniel Wohl's freakish romp "Sideshow" and Philip Schuessler's gorgeously intricate "Ripple" conducted by Yoshiaki Onishi.
This will be the New York City debut of a powerful new collaboration between two rising forces in contemporary music.
