New West & Shadow Language - Live at the Electric Lodge
Based in Los Angeles, New West has gained recognition as one of today's premier guitar ensembles. Their original music combines the foundation of jazz with elements of blues, rock and folk. As a group, New West travels all over the world giving concerts and clinics which have received critical acclaim. While still in their early 20s, New West looks forward to a bright future. Shadow Language is a chamber music ensemble devoted to repertoire written specifically for electric guitars. Founded by Ken Rosser in 2008, the group consists of members not only trained in Western classical music, but with hands-on experience in the vocabulary of the electric guitar, whether from the worlds of rock, jazz, blues, avant-garde, world music, or beyond.
