TRUE TO LIFE: STORIES BY RAMLA YOUTH
Various directors
Israel, 2004, 65 min., Amharic, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian and Turkish with English subtitles

Veteran Israeli producer Moshe Levinson (who also brings us this year's 5 Days) collaborated with youth producers from the diverse Israeli city of Ramla to construct these intimate, funny, and moving documentary portraits. All of the films in the series were directed and filmed by the youths themselves and the subjects they tackle-family, first love, loss, immigration, and sibling rivalry-are both deeply personal and universal.

Notes
In person: Producer/Editor Moshe Levinson

Advance ticketing for this screening is sold out.  Please note that there is an EXCELLENT chance that we can seat you with standby tickets for "sold out" shows. We reserve seats at each screening for all-festival passholders and many do not show up for all films. Standby ticketing begins 15 mins prior to showtime and we seat standby patrons on a first come, first served basis. We suggest that you come to the theater 30 mins in advance of the screening to line up for standby seating.
