Musical guests: HYBRID resident artist Pete List and Ken Hashimoto will mix beatbox and cello Accordioniste and chanteuse Nicki Pfoutz will serenade us Matthew Fass, Ben Syversen, and Don Godwin of the Raya Brass Band will get us ALL dancing
The Circle is a gathering of the Alchemy community: dancers, friends, and family. The circle is sacred space. It is center, cycle, wholeness, potency, the feminine, continuity, renewal, unity.
Our dance is a circle: we trace circles in space as we move, and form circles with each other as we dance together.
Our community is a circle: a group of powerful and beautiful women sharing their dance, a group of supportive friends and family who witness our offering and help us to celebrate.
This is the 4th annual show presenting the creativity and dedication of the Alchemy dancers. This year we are also having a benefit and silent auction to help Alchemy Dance Theater travel to Tribal Fest in California from May 12-16. We're very excited to share Alchemy with the Tribal Fest community, and we are calling on the Alchemy community to help us accomplish this. You can support us by coming to the show, buying a VIP ticket, or bidding in our silent auction at the show. We also have an online donation drive at https://sites.google.com/site/alchemydancetheatertfbenefit/ where where you can give money either as a direct donation or in return for several fabulous goods and services from our community.
