Teresa Storch & Timmy Riordan
Teresa Storch and Timmy Riordan perform at Art Without Borders in Harvard Sq.
About Teresa:
A nationally touring performer for the past four years, Boston-based singer/songwriter Teresa Storch is constantly moving. Her music has been described as a "bounding folk rock sound...mesmerizing vocal riffs" by Boston's Metronome Magazine and "Vega/Merchant-esque vocals...funky guitar work... fabulously catchy folk-genre'd tunes" by Boston Girl Guide. Her first release 'Muscle Memory' and live shows are gathering her national acclaim. She received 3rd place in the Solar Fest 2008 competition, competed in the Susquehanna Music and Arts Festival and Flat Rock Music Festival songwriter competitions in 2005, was selected honorable mention in the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival 2003 Songwriter's Showcase Competition and was selected as part of the Bostons Best Singer/Songwriters Showcase for 2003.

About Timmy:
Timmy has been called the hidden gem of the Somerville/Cambridge music scene. His music draws on influences from Gillian Welch to They Might Be Giants. He is a songwriter's songwriter--someone who not only eats and breathes music on a daily basis, but is fascinated and inspired by philosophy and art. This February he invited 32 songwriters to perform in his "Song Bomb" project. Each of the 32 songwriters (folks like Teresa Storch, Ellis, Eric Schwartz and Betty Soo took part) wrote and recorded a song in one day then posted the song on his site. While they were doing that, Timmy wrote, recorded and posted 32 songs of his own. Many of the songs were started from the same prompts. Some even share titles. Timmy is currently recording his first full length album "New York's Ignoring Me"
