Micheal O'Neill Quintet with Pianist Michael Wolff
Mothers Day debut of Mexican born vocalist Sandra Aran and the Michael O'Neill (saxophones) quartet with special guest Michael Wolff. This evening's event will leave all mother's thrilled by the multi-cultural stylings of Ms. Aran accompanied by the bay area's finest jazz musicians. The evening's excitement will begin with an instrumental set led by the trio (Michael Wolff - piano, John Wiitala - bass and Omar Aran - drums). Sandra and the quartet (with John R. Burr replacing Michael Wolff) will bring back the nostalgia of classic boleros along with new versions of timeless standards. Original collaborations between Mr. O'Neill and Ms. Aran will also be heard for the first time on this date.
