Poetry 101: The Romantics

Wordsworth! Coleridge! Blake! Byron! You've heard these names a thousand times, but nowin this month of loveit's time to learn what the Romantic poets truly are about. In this fun, low-pressure and engaging discussion for poetry beginners we'll demystify the poems that wearied you in school while discovering the joy and catharsis these works were always meant to inspire. And since you'll be learning a secret (shhh: the Romantics weren't always very romantic!) we'll also read some contemporary and classic love poetry, paying homage to Valentine's Day and poetry's favorite age-old subject: l'amour.

Admission is $45, and includes continental breakfast. PARKING IS NOT INCLUDED. We encourage those attending to carpool and/or look for street parking. Valet parking at the Bel Air is an additional $14.
