A father and his filmmaker son explore the previously untold story of 1,000 Viennese Jews stranded on the frozen Danube River in 1941 awaiting rescue from Ruth Klieger, a senior agent of the newly created Mossad. Cleverly intertwined interviews, archival film, dramatic re-enactments and personal narrative.
Co-sponsored by the Jewish Studies Program in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the Univesity of Washington, Save Darfur Washington State and Secular Jewish Circle of Puget Sound.
