David Rovics, Jim Page & George Mann, in Concert Together
"Waging Peace and Healing the Wounds of War," a benefit concert for Greater Seattle Veterans For Peace, Chapter 92. David Rovics, Jim Page and George Mann are remarkable singer/songwriters who are known nationally and internationally.
George Mann has recently produced a CD, "Until You Come Home - Songs for Veterans and their Families," with songs from Tom Paxton, Holly Near, Utah Phillips, John Gorka, David Rovics and others.
David Rovics is a popular progressive folksinger and international troubador for global justice.
Jim Page lived and performed for many years in Seattle, where he organized the buskers at Pike Place Market. He has an international reputation and he is also a member of Greater Seattle Veterans For Peace.
There will also be a tribute to Jim Hinde, a wonderful singer/songwriter and Vietnam veteran who recently passed away.
