In a small Arab village in northern Israel, the ambitious Shadya Zoabi has practiced Karate since she was eight. She was only 17 when she became karate world champion, an unusual sport for a Muslim girl. Despite her father''s support and striking self-confidence, social pressures from her brothers and the surrounding community are great.
