The Wanderlust Film Festival
The Wanderlust Film Festival was founded to celebrate that glorious genre of the travel documentary. Hosted by two filmmakers who have made their own travel documentaries, The 1st Annual Wanderlust Film Festival will be held on just one day, June 13, 2015 in historic, downtown West Chester, PA. Local restaurants, bars, breweries and boutique shopping surround the venue, Walnut Street Labs.
$10.00 is good for an all-day pass!
Here's the schedule:
12:00 P.M. - "Go Ganges" - Two friends journey from the source glacier of the river in the Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal, where it empties into the Indian Ocean. And they do it rather unconventionally traveling on foot, cycle-rickshaw, rowboat and anything else that moves.
1:30 P.M. - "30 Ballparks in 30 Days" - Join three friends as they embark on an 18,000-mile road trip on a quest to see a game in all 30 Major League ballparks in 30 days.
3:00 P.M. - "Above and Below: Galapagos" - Florian's 14-day dive expedition around the Galapagos Islands showcases the beauty and biodiversity of the ecosystem.
3:45 P.M. - "A Proper Pint" - A short film that celebrates pub culture in Ireland and the role of the pub as an essential part of a rural community.
5:00 P.M. - "Lake Michigan In A Dugout" - The story of two women chasing their ridiculous dream: to journey around Lake Michigan aboard their handmade dugout sailing canoe... an adventure that would ultimately take them over 1200 miles in 93 days.
6:30 P.M. - "Grand Alpes" - The journey of three passionate cyclists who travel the historic Route des Grandes Alpes in France. A declaration of love to bike traveling that not only captures the beauty of the French Alps, but also the changes that take place inside of the cyclist.
8:30 P.M. - "Race to the Bottom of the Earth" - Join one man as he treks solo across Antarctica on his quest to break a Guinness World Record.
