Narayan & Janet with the Band of Angels world debut! Soul Food Books in Redmond April 10 8:00 pm
Narayan & Janet are excited about their upcoming debut concert with their Band of Angels on April 10th at Soul Food Books in Redmond. The band includes the Grammy-award-winning Eric Tingstad on guitars, Northwest Jazz legend Michael Powers on bass and top-call session player Chris Leighton with his tricked-out drum kit. This is a dream band, definitely sent by angels! says Janet. The concert will include songs from their new CD ALL BLISS, and will be videotaped and streamed via the internet from Soul Food Books.
You will hear a delicious blend of pop, world music, jazz, R&B, and Sanskrit chant influences which feature Narayan & Janets wonderfully blended vocals, Janets organ and keyboard sounds, Narayans jazzy muted trumpet and flugelhorn melodies.
Music and chanting is known to have a powerful effect on humans... you will go home from this event feeling uplifted, centered and many have experienced deep emotional healings. And its fun!
