It will be worth getting up early on October 8 to see a total lunar eclipse! Doors will open at 3:30 a.m. shortly after the partial phase of the eclipse begins. The total eclipse will be visible for about an hour starting at 4:30 a.m. Join The Albuquerque Astronomical Society for lunar and night sky viewing through telescopes. NOTE: Event will be canceled if the sky is cloudy.
In the event of cancellation of a Starry Night due to that evening's inclement weather, you will be issued a NMMNH&S voucher for use on any other Starry Night event scheduled within the following 6 months.
You will need to bring in your BPT Receipt of purchase within 7 days to receive your NMMNH&S voucher for another Starry Night Event.
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science reserves the right to cancel any event that does not reach a minimum of 6 participants.
