CHICAGO, The Musical (San Domenico Upper School)
San Domenico's Upper School Theatre Arts Department is proud to present the musical, CHICAGO.
Maurine Dallas Watkins was a journalist and playwright who penned theatrical material while working as a reporter for the Chicago Tribune. Her most notable play, CHICAGO, was based on some real-life murder cases in the 1920's, and was later developed into a musical of the same name, garnering awards for both stage and film interpretations. Come watch us Razzle Dazzle 'em with this exciting piece of musical theatre, now the #1 longest-running American musical in Broadway history!
