Drawn Out Storytelling: DIY
This is the show where narcissism goes nuts.
Each month Drawn Out Storytelling puts on a show where we have storytellers tell stories and artists illustrate parts of that story and musicians accompany those stories. This month those roles are getting combined into one person!
We have three storyteller/artists who will be accompanying themselves through their storytelling journey, and one who will be accenting his story with his own musical stylings.
Michele Carlo, Cammi Climaco, and Katherine Perkins will be telling and drawing stories of love, loss, and Led Zeppelin. Steven Lipschutz will be playing alongside himself as he tells his story of looking for himself far away from himself.
In between we have an psychoanalysis of Paul Swartz's stickers by Rhett duPont, a look at some childhood drawings that should have been psychoanalyzed by Lena Chandhok, and a illustrative-psychoanalysis by Jefferson of Nisse Greenberg. All accompanied by the band that is born out of artists and storytellers - "Wolfe and the Wayside"
Doors will open at 9:15 at which point we will have beer, wine, music, and comics for sale while "Wolfe and the Wayside" serenades us with the sounds of their awesomeness. The show will begin at 9:45, and by 11 your life will have changed.

At Drawn Out Storytelling we believe there is a symbiotic relationship between art and life and it needs to be further explored. Starting with a real person telling a real story from their real life, we have comic book artists illustrate aspects of the story and musicians compose original music to accompany the story. The result is an epic experience that examines life and art's complicated but necessary relationship. Http://www.drawnoutstorytelling.com/
