Creating Joy
Creating Joy is our gorgeous annual family event- cross between a baby festival and retreat in a 22 acre woodland. We keep it intimate and with a wild camping feel.  Imaging stepping into a woodland cocooned in a bubble. Its a weekend of creativity, community and joy. Its some seriously high vibing stuff.

Its swallows and amazons for the kids and chilled woodland vibes for the adults. Pure joy for everyone. Reset and refresh.

Creating Joy weekend is a celebration of all that we do - in a beautiful woodland with beautiful people.  It surely is a soul food experience.   3 nights free camping is included. It is a very non commercial festival, no food stalls or same old festival vendors just beautiful sounds of the birds, laughter, singing, drumming. This is how we like it.

Some of the workshops for this year will include various awesome crafting experiences, yoga, meditation, shamanic journeying, circus skills workshop, soundbath, past life experience, - lots of woo woo, lots of singing and dancing - lots of joy!

Its a wild camping feel in the woodland. This is some of the best camping you will experience that is not actually wild camping. There are toilets and hot water with washing up sinks in the main glade.

The glade is the main community area,  where our fabulous performers take to the stage in the evening and people chill during the day.

The woodland is just woodland and  you can choose your spot from the 22 acres of bliss- there's no cramming folks into tight spaces here!  There is a track which you can drive around so you don't have to lug your stuff very far to unload. We do ask that you don't drive around on site over the weekend. There is a car park at the bottom of the wood, which slopes up hill, and you can drive in and out of the wood freely from there.  The only exception is for people with mobility problems - please contact us to discuss your needs.

There are grassy patches throughout the wood to pitch your tent and there are lots of trees perfectly spaced for hammocks if you arrive early to snaggle hammock friendly trees.  We do put up a few hammocks in the glade too.
We have many lone campers, as our events are so welcoming and safe. We have a team on stand by to help pitch up and unload if you need it.

There's unlimited capacity for ticketholders with tents as we do not sell tickets to the full capacity allowed in the woodland - we like to keep it intimate and special.  We can accommodate campervans - small vans can access the wood easily. Large ( lwb transit size +) may struggle on the incline on the woodland tracks - depends how confident you are.  We have a 7.5 tonne ex library bus which we have had half way up - it takes a bit of nerve!  We do have room on the lower levels for larger campers but space is limited - please check before booking that we have room.  Caravans are unable to access the site at all, unfortunately.
