Alex de Grassi in Concert
Grammy nominated Alex de Grassi brings a unique voice to the art of acoustic guitar with his evocative compositions and arrangements. His trademark ability to create highly orchestrated sound and sheer virtuosity incited The Wall Street Journal to call his playing "flawless" and to Billboard "his intricate finger picking technique with an uncanny gift for melodic invention. He has recorded numerous timew for Windham Hill, RCA Novus, Tropo Recores, 33rd Street and other labels. De Grassi's latest release, Now and Then: Fok Songs for the 21st Century is a solo recording with his contemporary arrangments of nearly a dozen tunes from the American standards repertoire.
