Fronted by singer/songwriters Karen Ann Gilpin and Peggy LeCuyer, The Nellies present a fine mix of originals and covers in the American roots music tradition. Nationally renowned dobro ace Kevin Maul and upright bassist Gene Lemme round out the core of a Nellies lineup which possesses both musical skill and a fun loving stage presence.

By turns intelligent, soulful, melodic and melancholy, acoustic singer-songwriter M.R. Poulopoulos is one of Capital Region's most honest and eloquent artists. His wide-ranging influences share a common foundation in American blues and roots music, but his sound is very much his own.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Amanda's Journey Foundation, which assists children who are battling Mitochondrial Diseases, and raises awareness about these genetic disorders. www.amandasjourney.org
