Jewett Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet
The JACC Annual Awards Banquet provides and opportunity to the Chamber to honor local businesses, citizens, organizations and educators that work to maintain a high standard of excellence.
Nominees for Business of the Year are Flex-Source, LLC., Buckles and Bows Resale Shop and Farmer's State Bank. Citizen of the Year Nominees are Gilbert Garcia, Terry Jones and Sean O'Reilly. Organization of the Year nominees are Leon County Military Families, Jewett Volunteer Fire Department, and Jewett Extension Education Club. Educator of the Year nominees are Tammy Garcia, Melissa Crane, Beckey Brown, Brandy Walters, Jared Neff and Jason Evans.
In addition to these awards, the Chamber gives one outstanding volunteer the Lorene Clute Volunteer of the Year Award. This award honors the spirit of volunteerism that Ms. Lorene Clute exhibited for many years.
Chamber President Chad Prior will provide a highlight of the Chamber's 2013 activities and share goals and plans for 2014.
A catered meal will be served.
