Our Home  a review of ABC Poetry, songs from Broadway and original pieces created by our students exploring and investigating the meaning of Home. Times are changing and things arent always what we expect, but its important to know we always have a place we can call home.

HONORARY GUEST TEACHERS:
Sarah J. Hom is Roundabout Theatre Companys Director of Audience Services. She is passionate about and dedicated to increasing accessibility and inclusion in the arts. Prior to joining Roundabout, she held senior positions with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the Colorado Symphony and was Board Chair for Phamaly Theatre Company. When she isnt sitting inside a theatre (which isnt often), Sarah also enjoys skiing; particularly with the NSCD in Winter Park, Colorado.

Monique Holt wears many theater hats. ACTOR: Aldonza/Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha (Harlequin Productions). Worker Chen in Snow in Midsummer and Lady Montague in Romeo & Juliet (Oregon Shakespeare Festival). DIRECTOR: Cloud 9, Urinetown, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Deafhood Monologues, TITUS and a short film  Always A Bridesmaid? CREATOR/WRITER: Night Was So Hungry That Ate The Moon, The Dark Room, and The ORbit. DASL (Director for Artistic Sign Language) Cymbeline, Movement of the Soul, peeling, and Grisha (film).  LECTURER: Translating Shakespearean Text into Sign Language 2009  present. In Seattle, she does consulting work for theater communities and works for Deaf Spotlight as a theater director  creating programs. CREDENTIALS: BFA in Acting  NYU & MFA in Theater  Towson University.

John McGinty Broadway acting credits: Children of a Lesser God, King Lear.  NY: Fêtes de la Nuit, World Premiere of Samuel D. Hunters The Healing, Veritas, Movement of the Soul. Regional: Levity (WMPAC), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Sacramento Music Circus and La Mirada Theatre), Tribes (Guthrie Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre), Pippin (CTG, Deaf West). Film: Wonderstruck, Sign, The First Purge. TV: Faces, Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist, This Close, High Maintenance, Dont Shoot the Messenger, Able. He also works for Actors Equity Association, and Executive Director at Senses Askew Company.

Malik Paris is a Deaf actor and artist based in Philadelphia. He has been a performer and co-founding member of the ASL poetry performance group Dangerous Signs since 2010. He enjoys the range of work done in Dangerous Signs from theater for Young Audience performances to Fringe Festival creations.  He is most proud of his performance work in Godspell as Jesus, Pippin as Leading Player, and Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors at Rochesters Equity Theater, GEVA. This year he won a Kennedy Center Award for his work in Fences at NTID and starred as Don Quixote/Cervantes in Man of La Mancha. He has been recognized with Rochester Theater Award nominations. His favorite New York Deaf Theatre (NYDT) production included: TITUS as Aaron the Moor and Riff Raff in Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also has worked with IRT theater here in NYC.

Daniel Irizarry is an international director and actor. He recently directed an adaptation of Gogols The Inspector General in NCPA performing space in Mumbai, India. Directed and performed the world premiere of Yukio Mishimas Busu for Provincetown Tennesse Williams Theatre Festival. Hes known for The Maids by José Rivera (New York Times Critics Pick), UBU (Time Out NY Critics Pick), The Madman and The Nun performed in Turkey, Poland (Gardzienice) and NYC (Pregones Theatre), An Italian Straw Hat (Essen, Germany), Mouthgasm Chapter 1 (Turkey and Cyprus), Momorato (Tokyo, Japan), and Chekhovs one-act series (Seoul, South Korea). This year he performs in Piazzolas Maria de Buenos Aires (Bare Opera at Blue Building in NYC).
