IMPROV FOR STORYTELLERS
Are you ready for something fun and fabulous?
Improv techniques are a great tool for storytellers and non-storytellers alike.
This four-week class will focus on presentation, narrative structure, confidence, and authentic voice using proven and enjoyable improv techniques. Participants will leave the class with new skills, a fresh (or well-refined) story, an understanding of the benefits of improv, and a terrific sense of community. Plus a great reason to get off social media and add another element to your storytelling.
Dee Ryan is an alum of Chicago's Second City and an adjunct professor of comedy/improvisation at Northwestern University. She is a corporate speaking coach and keynote creative director and she produces Louder Than a Mom, a popular and inclusive storytelling show in Chicago.
This Story Jam Studio class will be exciting and enriching, and the skills acquired will be useful for public speaking, performance, storytelling, and relationships. All are welcome!
