Studio 4/4 Presents Habitat w/ Kidnap
Many of you know him as Kidnap Kid, but the London based producer has recently decided to go by Kidnap. The name stems from a prank he played as a youth where he ended up being arrested for pretending to be kidnapped, complete with british news coverage, police, and mortified parents. His final time playing as Kidnap Kid was in fact at Studio 4/4 in 2017.
Today he's just one of our favorite producers. His label Birds That Fly, his work on Anjunadeep, his numerous classic tracks (OMG STRONGER AND SURVIVE STILL SLAY), and his consistently amazing performances have created a special place in our heart for him. This is the 4th play for Kidnap with the S44/UL team and we could not be more perfectly suited for the deep dark basement we've made our home on Thursdays, Habitat at Now or Never.

Studio 4/4 started at Lo-fi over five years ago, since then we worked to bring the best artists house and techno to the NW. We've been lucky enough to host performances from Richie Hawtin, Maya Jane Coles, Maceo Plex, Danny Tenaglia, Tale of Us, Claude Von Stroke, Hot Since 82, The Black Madonna, Nicole Moudaber, Green Velvet, Duke Dumont, Gessaffelstein, The Martinez Brothers, and Alan Fitzpatrick among the 250+ international headliners.
We're unbelievably grateful for your trust. This is where we think we have the most opportunity to do something special right now. We want to create an unbelievably warm vibe, showcase emerging producers from all over the world, and highlight the artists and crews that make the NW what it is. We've been given Thursday nights to do a weekly in an amazing new room on Capitol Hill called Now Or Never. It's a unique space with it's own entrance on Pine that travels down stairs and opens to the most beautiful basement we've ever seen.
