The musicians of the NYC Ballet come up out of the orchestra pit and perform in their very own traditional jazz group. Led by principal bassist Ron Wasserman, they will perform new arrangements of great classic American music of the 1910s-1930s featuring the work of Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, James P Johnson, Duke Ellington and many others.

Tonight's performance will feature Lowell Hershey on trumpet, Brian Santero on trombone and Alan Moverman on piano, and will be accompanied by Saratoga favorites, Jonathan Greene on Clarinet, and Sam Zucchini on drums.

After many many decades at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the musicians of the NYC Ballet are thrilled to be able to perform in the intimate setting of Caffe Lena.
