11:00 AM - BOB ALTSCHULER - Up the Neck Bluegrass Banjo Techniques  Understanding the fingerboard above fret 7 opens up many new playing options. After an overview, we'll focus on specific licks, movable positions and lead possibilities up the neck.

12:30 PM - JERRY OLAND - Scruggs, Reno and Melodic Overview - An overview of the three main styles of bluegrass banjo, with instruction on basics, rolls and left hand techniques for each.

2:00 PM - MARTIN GROSSWENDT - Clawhammer Berlitz for the Right Hand - Were going to take a concentrated, hands-on look at the right-hand techniques that go into making a great clawhammer sound.  Come learn to build the specific set of skills into your right hand that you need to boost your playing up to the next level

3:30 PM - SARA GREY - Using old time banjo to accompany traditional Appalachian songs and ballads - Sara will also teach a two finger picking style in addition to frailing to accompany songs and ballads.
