Farah Siraj is a Jordanian virtuoso vocalist named as Jordans musical ambassadress. With a career that has stretched from the Middle East to Europe to the United States, Siraj has performed everywhere from the United Nations to the Nobel Prize Hall to Lincoln Center. Sirajs original compositions fuse influences of Middle Eastern music, bossa, flamenco, jazz, and pop, among other genres, with lyrics in Arabic, Spanish, and English.
The Nordlys Global Voices Series provides cross-cultural understanding and enrichment through the universal language of music. Featuring original and traditional musicians from non-English-speaking nations, this series is made possible by the generous support of The Nordlys Foundation.
