Day of Recollection
To start the New Year right, bring friends and family to St. John Cantius in Chicago on Saturday, January 5, 2013, for a day of recollection on the subject of sacred music. Anyone who loves sacred music and the Catholic liturgy will enjoy this day of prayer and reflection. This spiritual retreat on the subject of prayer and music will be held at St. John Cantius Church, located at 825 N. Carpenter, Chicago, IL 60642. We will especially focus on St. Hildegard, Abbess, the mystic and musical composer, who was declared a new Doctor of the Church in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI.  Get tickets for this day of recollection in the school today after Mass.
