GWC Wears Red - Ride Brooklyn!
Get Women Cycling is hosting a special event in honor of Go Red for Women's National Wear Red Day.
"Why Go Red? Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Fortunately, we can change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. That's why this year we are asking that you wear red on National Wear Red Day..."
A healthy heart is a top priority for Get Women Cycling which is why we are kicking off February with (2) one hour sessions of CompuTrianing at Ride Brooklyn.
Each CompuTraining session will mimic a real world rolling hills route on your choice of road or hybrid/commuter bike.
