Fleur at Town Hall
Rejoice in the return of the sun, with music that captures the beauty and splendor of spring. Eric Whitacre's Cloudburst portrays a wild thunderstorm with dramatic intensity; while Morten Lauridsen applies a delicate touch to the exquisite poetry of Rilke in Les Chansons des Roses. The evocative Five Flower Songs of Benjamin Britten provide a contemporary contrast to romantic songs of nature by Brahms and Mendelssohn. On March 10, Seattle Pro Musica welcomes the Bellevue Girlchoir as part of our Education & Outreach Program.
