Basya Schechter's Songs of Wonder
In setting the Yiddish poetry of the revered Civil Rights activist and Jewish philosopher Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel to music, Basya Schechter has created a rich new collection of Yiddish songs with a contemporary touch. This exciting project blends Basya's lovely voice, Heschel's powerful poetry, and some of the finest musicians in the NYC Downtown Jewish Scene. What better place to hear this music than in the synagogue where Heschel often spoke.

Interested in meeting Jewish singles age 45 +? We are setting aside a section for 'singles seating.' People who choose these seats will be contacted about a post-concert reception, too.
