Afoutayi Dance
Afoutayi Dance, Music & Arts Company promotes Haitian Folklore through teaching dance, music and culture to benefit and enrich the local community while simultaneously promoting cultural diversity, self-empowerment and leadership through the arts. Interring in the community of Haitian people is being connected by the world of the spirit, where the movements of the body are in harmonization with the sound of the drums to celebrate our ancestors. The Haitian history of revolution has had great impact on the culture, giving a distinctive fiery character to the dance.
