The Paradise Theatre<BR>215 Grand Avenue<BR>Paonia, CO<BR><BR>Presents: Live Americana-Rock / Pop-Punk<BR><BR>Hymn for Her with JoeAlan Meador opening<BR>Thursday, November 10th (7:30)<BR>Tix $12 adv / $15 door<BR><BR>The Paradise Theatre in Paonia presents an evening of unique Americana, Roots, and Pop-Punk on Thursday, November 10th. &nbsp;Lucy Tight & Wayne Waxing are "Hymn For Her", a band that hails from Philadelphia, but recently, anywhere they can park their trailer. &nbsp;H4H live, tour and record in their 16 foot, 1961 Bambi Airstream (comes with dog and baby).<BR><BR>Their new release, 'Lucy & Wayne and THE AMERICAN STREAM' was entirely recorded in their classic trailer on a coast to coast U.S tour. They stopped at various campgrounds and friends driveways between shows, set up their gear in their Bambi/home recording studio, rolled tape and rocked out.<BR><BR>Both players are multi-instrumentalists and one tight unit. &nbsp;They describe their music as "stomp-grass punk folk with a hint of Americana." &nbsp;Lucy plays a three-stringed broom handle/cigar box guitar, banjo and sometimes even a glockenspiel as she shares vocal duties with Wayne, who also plays acoustic guitar, banjo, dobro, and/or harmonica all while handling percussion on bass drum and hi-hat. Bullet microphones and an arsenal of effect pedals give this band a sound like no other. &nbsp;Shows sometimes might include a Led Zeppelin or other classic tune given the Hymn For Her twist! &nbsp; Check out their website at http://www.hymnforher.com.<BR><BR>Opening the show is local, Paonia favorite, JoeAlan Meador who's style is original and captivating. &nbsp;The show starts at (7:30); doors (7:00). &nbsp;Tickets are available online at www.paradiseofpaonia.com as well as at KVNF Public Radio and the Paradise Theatre Box Office for $12 adv / $15 door.
