Handel Choir of Baltimore: Handel's "Semele"
Endless pleasure, endless love ... and certain judgment!
Join us for a rare performance of Handel's sizzling oratorio Semele, based on the Greek myth of a passionate, doomed affair between the mortal Semele (soprano Clara Rottsolk) and the god of gods, Jupiter (tenor Aaron Sheehan). Thunder, lightning and exquisite arias!
