Jazz Appreciation Class
The parallel relationship and syncretization of Jazz and Latin American music provide a rich and fascinating perspective on this process. It's all quite logical when you consider that the birthplace of Jazz  New Orleans  is a Caribbean port.

This lecture by five-time Grammy nominee John Santos will include rare recordings from Mr. Santos's legendary collection and discussion of the roots and relevance of Latino Caribbean music throughout the Americas. Bring all your questions, propositions, opinions, and a notepad to this unique event.
