'11 Unity Through the Arts I
We all bring varied gifts and perspectives to the world, and when we lend them to musical collaboration, something special is born. That's what our Diverse Journeys concert series is all about. This year, Vesper Chorale and the Children's Choir of Michiana welcome the adult and children's choirs of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church of South Bend in an event celebrating the traditions of African-American music. The concert will feature Ringwald's setting of God's Trombones, as well as works by H. T. Burleigh and Richard Smallwood, as we gather in unity through the arts.
