"The film, made with the support of the Chinmaya mission
family, is a refreshing break from rhetoric, a dangerous motif
that many biopics suffer from. The cinematography, by
Siddhartha Nuni who has previously worked on Life of Pi and
Lucia, is one of the strong points of the film, the mise-en-
scene in Rishikesh and Sidhbari, one of the many picturesque
locations in which the film was shot, is brought forth in
beautiful long shots and shift focuses that carry the essence
of the narrative forward. It is complemented by the dedication
to detail in the art direction. Creating the 1940s, more than
70 years later, is not an easy task, but the production of the
film lives up to high film standards."
