Not Available Event STEVE EARLE with special Guest Joe Ely Known for his political ferocity, singer-songwriter Steve Earle has been recording country- and rock-influenced music since 1986. His most recent album, Townes, was awarded a 2010 Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album, marking Earle's third Grammy Award win in this category. The album is a tribute to Earle's music mentor, Townes van Sandt. Joe Ely's genre-crossing career touches on country and rock n' roll influences with both solo albums and releases as part of country music's The Flatlanders. The singer-songwriter has been recording music since 1977 and has performed with a diverse group of notables including Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, and Lyle Lovett.
