Catalyst 2010 presented by Los Angeles Movement Arts

Los Angeles Movement Arts (LAMA) is producing its second iteration of Catalyst. It was conceived as a platform for artists to push their boundaries and promote purposeful experimentation.

The idea: "Necessity is the mother of invention," For this year's Catalyst, "we would like to ask the choreographers to create a guide for their piece using art form other than dance. It doesn't matter which art form, but it has to be performed live." This is to encourage a cross medium/discipline approach.

This year's Catalyst will feature work by the following choreographers -
